PADO is a non-profit, non-governmental, agricultural organization. Agricultural development experts and other professionals founded the organization to address the core agricultural development needs in the Puntland State of Somalia. PADO also aims to create a conducive platform where agricultural experts, farmers, technicians, environmentalists, private companies, and policy- can exchange expertise and information. The PADO was established in 2010 in Garowe, the capital city of the Puntland State of Somalia, resulting from the real need for a platform organization that brings together the main stockholders operating in Puntland’s agriculture sector.
